New Moon In Virgo: August 25, 2014

The moon is our closest cosmic brother.  The energy of the moon affects the earth’s water and magnetic pull of the whole planet, including us.  The light from the sun shines through the energy around the Earth from the moon and thus transmits information to the DNA of the human body.  What is this new moon saying to us this month?  Something amazing again.  If you have not noticed, most of the blogs I post are very positive in manner when it comes to the cycles of the moon.  This is because every aspect of the Universe is supportive for you to become healthy and happy. You are not alone.

This new moon is a chance for new starts.  Getting rid of the old thoughts and behaviour patterns and be aware of the need to honour and love yourself.  We hear this over and over again, but some find it hard to do even though they know it is for the best;  they just cannot with consistency.    One of the things the new moon in Virgo lets you do is forgive.  Not just others, but yourself.  It’s ok.  Just let it go.  Your old thought patterns will bring in fear telling you not to let go or it will happen again.  Don’t forgive it tells you.  It keeps you in this pattern.  Write down the names of the people you need to forgive on separate pieces of paper today and make sure your name is included.  Lay them out tonight and let the new moon help the energies.  In the morning pick up the papers, say their name out loud and say you forgive them.  Fold the papers and simply place them in the garbage.  The last name you should choose is your own.  “I forgive myself for not loving myself enough to forgive others for their fear of not being loved”.  Fold this piece of paper and keep it with you in your purse, wallet or by your bed this cycle of the moon to help keep this new way of thinking with you.

It is exhausting to feel under attack all the time.  We use this energy of protecting ourselves in old habits that could be used to grow in a better way.  Ask your Angels and the Angels here on Earth to help you move past the anger and fear.  The healing energy in the Virgo New Moon helps with the details that could be the awareness to finally let go, rest and move forward.  It allows you to move into your heart chakra and see that there is only one thing to forgive with anybody….the fear of not being worthy of love.  We know this is not true so all you are forgiving is that somebody believed they were not worthy of love.  In finding compassion you will find forgiveness and be able to use the pain as a tool of compassion that brings you leaps and bounds forward into the New World Consciousness of peace.

The new moon in Virgo happens this afternoon and it will feel like you just got back from a long hard day at the work and you are allowed to rest.  Rest but then take the time to find where you can make improvements.  The moon is in opposition to Neptune and this can sometimes make you feel confused and lost.  Some have a hard time coping, so use meditation and a nice lavender oil to calm yourself down and stay centered in the heart.    Some of us may do something drastic just to have a change, any change, good or bad, from the situation where we are at the moment when we feel lost.  FIND YOURSELF.  You are feeling bad because you left yourself.  Find your way home through the breath.

The new moon is on what is called a Sabian Symbol of Two Guardian Angels.  They remind you that you do not have to be perfect to forgive yourself, nor do others have to be perfect to forgive their fear of not being worthy of love.   Neptune energy brings in the unconscious and it is time to be conscious of your unconscious habits.  With the energy of Uranus in this field as well it represents an “awakening” so a perfect time to put things in order in your spirit as things are in order in the cosmos to make this happen.   The carbon of our carbon life form here on Earth is from the stars.

Its home calling you back, and its telling you everything is all right.

What Is Trance Healing?

If you are reading this blog it is because you have an active brain.  Your brain is able to go in and out of different brave wave patterns to assess what is going on in front of you.   It is a communication between neurons without our brains.  Brain waves are produced from electrical pulses from the over 85 billion neurons in your brain communicating in a systematic and harmonious matter.  That is they make sense and flow together nicely.  These brainwaves change depending on how your emotional body is telling the brain to respond to the physical body.

When you are tired and sluggish, the brainwaves are slower, and when you are awake they become faster, and when you are hyper or concentrating they become very active.  The activity is happening all over the brain.  It is false that we only use 10% of our brain in a geographical sense.  We actually are sensing brain waves from all parts of the brain at all times.

When you are doing trance healing, you are allowing your brain wave pattern to kind of sit in the passenger seat and allow Spirit to come to the forefront.   It is very important that you learn how to do trance properly and I highly recommend that you do not try to do it alone to start.   Being in service to Spirit is a high calling and we all have it, but learning who to open the door to is of utmost importance.

There are some people that go deep into Theta while in trance and do not remember a lot of what they said.  They come out of the session and have to be debriefed as to what went on.  I do not teach this form as I find it teaches separation.  I am quite able to share my mind and be able to witness the healing from the passenger seat without being the backseat driver.  When you have such amazing and inspiring energy in the front, you do not want to take control.  You simply are amazed you get to enjoy the ride and learn so much.  You are healing while you heal.

Another thing I want to point out is that here at The Home Of Om, we do not believe we are “healers”.  In order to be a “healer” it means that one must find somebody that is sick to heal.  Our belief is that nobody is sick so nobody needs to be healed.  We know you are a perfect light body of love and are simply under the illusion that you are sick.  We will not confirm what is not there.  We will not break you to fix you.  We want to know why you are denying your place in the world so much that you are making your physical sick.  We are not denying that you are in pain or suffering but we want to find out why you think you deserve it.  Trance healing gets to the ROOT of the issue, not just treat the symptoms.

Why is our trance healing with the Angels different?  You are not the vessel.  The Angels are amazing creatures of light and pure love and do not need a vessel to transcribe this to the Earth.  It also separates your client from his or her own Angels.  Their Angels heal them, not you.  Their Angel’s power and healing abilities far outreach what our mere physical bodies can do.  Look at what a tiny little bullet can do to the human body.  It can kill you.   You cannot imagine the power that is held within an Archangel.  To try to harness that energy into your body is not going to be beneficial for the client or for you.

Some “healers” land up getting tired attached and have to disconnect and even protect themselves.  How about learning how to communicate the healing power of your client’s connection with their Angels by witnessing it and explaining it?  Your voice becomes the only tool you need to help witness the energy.  It empowers and heals you instead of draws from you.  Not only this, but the most important thing is that it empowers your client.  They are doing it and you are privileged enough to witness it.  This means ongoing joy and a resonance of love and support for your client so they can love themselves.  Angels are perfect beings of love and light, and if they love your client, they can learn to love themselves to.

To separate your client from their inherent right to heal their belief system with their Angels and to say you can do what they cannot, in my humble opinion is harmful to the soul.  Instead asking if you can witness the amazing love and healing vibrations they are already carrying but ignoring, lifts your clients to a place they may have forgotten is their true home.  Here there is no illness.

I have seen people cry because this was the first time in ten years they were pain free after the treatment.  I have seen those walk in with canes run out forgetting them on my table.  I have seen the innocence return to victims of crime and pain and watched their inner child be set free with Archangel Michael and Metatron taking them home to heal.   I am a witness to love.  I am blessed for it, not the client.

Trance healing with the Angels Workshop will help you get over the stigma of trance healing and we will work on recognizing the subtle yet powerful energy of the Angels in motion here on this plane.  You will never feel drained again.  We will show you the difference and allow you to simply choose which way is best for you and your clients.  This amazing technique works long distance and even on your pets.

Join us and learn how to unite instead of separate.  When you do this, there is no need for healing.  There is only a need to embrace and who does not want to embrace an Angel?

My Zen Master’s (Nissim Amon) view on dealing with Accumulating Emotions.

I am happy to share with you that my Trilotherapy teacher finally has an English speaking Facebook page.  My Hebrew sucks!!  Ok it is non-existent.  His words are wise and are touching.

Sometimes the inner situation is bad and the mind looks outwards to find answers in the spiritual world. I saw this in many monasteries, young men carrying a great pain who sentenced themselves to extended periods of silence and prolonged sitting during meditation. The mind took emotion into a social solitary confinement and searched hidden worlds, with the ambition that one day the great enlightenment will come the pain would immediately be erased.

With adherence to the spiritual practice and discipline, the mind develops a "spiritual ego". This is due to the persistence and moving up in the ranks of the spiritual journey. For emotion, this situation is misleading. Seemingly, the mind and emotion are on a spiritual journey, the "purest" journey that one can make. The mind speaks beautiful words on sacred values, but utilizing its spiritual excuses, the mind convinces emotion to give up on anger or sadness, crying or enjoyment, and forces emotion to be constantly forgiving and full of compassion. I have seen monks proud of their self-imposed suppression, restricting themselves of all forms of sexuality, eating little, sleeping on a hard floor, waking in the middle of the night for an additional practice session, certain that they are the elites of the group. This kind of mind ignores the anger and pain that is in emotion. No process of cleansing and release of accumulated emotions is undertaken. They spoke with nobody about their pain, didn't cry, receive hugs, and there are monasteries that allow their students to be tough on themselves.

I have also met the spiritual types who live the normal city life, who, in the name of compassion, mind enforces restraint upon emotion and the acceptance of bad treatment at work or in a relationship, things which are not good for emotion. The mind will claim that the happiness is internal and does not need to be searched out through external change, nor is there a need to hang lack of joy upon others.

One's inner distress is not solved in the monastery, the middle does not really lead, there is no inner balance, and often there is a hidden depression in emotion. The mind is occupied with the chase after more and more spiritual knowledge, as well as the continuous search for methods, theories and teachers. The spirituals mind's technique of control is misleading and confusing. In addition to reducing the importance of emotion, the mind blames emotion for all slips along the way.

All this is done in order that full recognition for the intense efforts of the mind will reach the yearned for enlightenment, just out of the blue. There is a joke about a man walking down the street, when all of a sudden, a penguin fell on him from the sky. He asked a passerby what to do, and the passerby proposed that he take it to the zoo. The next day the passerby saw him with the penguin again. "I thought you took it to the zoo?" He said. "I did", answered the man, "but today he wants to go see a movie".

Enlightenment is not a penguin that falls suddenly from the skies. You cannot be tough, critical, blame, restrict and suppress yourself, then hope that you receive a prize for it. In the Trilotherapy journey, the ratio is changed between the mind and emotion, illuminating the middle way and understanding that the solution to the riddle of inner happiness is not hidden behind the spiritual ideas of the mind.

The moment that you become considerate and forgiving towards yourself, allow yourself to be sad and to talk about it, allow yourself to cry if it feels right, to have fun, to open up to people; if you decide to love yourself and to rest occasionally in the space that is between your thoughts, the yearned for enlightenment is not quite so distant.

Please feel free like Nissim’s Facebook page and continue the wisdom of Zen.

Self-Rejection. Your worst bad habit

It’s a tug of war isn’t it?  There are moments where you love yourself and think you are amazing, then that little feeling creeps up to remind you that you are not.  You go from feeling proud and happy to not wanting to leave the house and sitting there on the couch quite content to hate yourself for the evening.  Why?

Does it sound off the wall to you that rejecting yourself is a way of protecting yourself from others rejecting you first?  Hey it’s comfortable and not shocking when you do it right?  When others do it, it can take a lifetime to recover.   But what is it actually doing to you?  Is it worth the cost?  Some people go to the extreme of self-harming.   Their inside emotionally pain is so much that they try to manifest and control the pain on the outside.  It is a horrible thing to watch and even more horrible to go through.  On top of that there is an air of shame around it so even if they do it, they hide it and feel worse about themselves.  Now they can add embarrassment and shame to their unworthiness.  Kind of back fired didn’t it?
(for more information on self harming read “ The Bright Red Scream”)

In a recent research article, Doctors found that the most common thing that upsets people is that they are different than others and in a negative way.  It is important to survival to have a community to help us the brain tells us.  If the community does not accept us it can mean death to the reptilian part of the brain that is responsible for fight or flight.  It often tends to come out by feeling like an outcast or a fraud.  That feeling that you don’t really belong or people don’t like you and are just pretending to and at any second the shoe could drop and the gig is up.  You have a critical inner voice.

Dr. Robert and Lisa Firestone found that this inner critic usually comes from bad experiences as a child.  We grow up identifying ourselves as failures.  No parent or caretaker is perfect so we all have this.  Imagine the confusion of one minute you are a good boy or girl because you listened and ate all your dinner, then the next minute you were a bad boy or girl because you did not pick up your toys.  You were punished for the bad part so the good part could not have been worth more your little mind figures.  You are judged on your misdeeds not your successes.   We can all relate to this. It stops you from trying new things, accepting love because they might take it away, hard to accept compliments, and take constructive feedback as a hole through your heart.

How can we change this?  Challenge this inner voice.  DO not let it run untamed through your mind.  We already know it’s a liar.  It never helps you, it hurts you.  Do not hand over your mind to it.  Be aware when it is speaking to you and start to tell the difference between you and your inner critic.  I named mine.  Mine is “Stella”.   I ask Stella to prove what she just said and most of the time she cannot so I dismiss her and take charge of my mind back.  It feels great to put Stella in her place.  Once Stella keeps losing, she does not want to fight as much anymore.  FIRE HER!

Time for a replacement.  Imagine how much your life would change if instead you had an inner critic you had a cheerleader????  Disassociate with the mean thoughts and replace them with positive ones.   “NO YOU CANT” turns to “YES YOU CAN GO FOR IT”.

Signs it’s your inner critic and not just common sense include.
  • It lies
  • Has no back up
  • Is never pleased
  • Never helps you get ahead
  • Makes you scared
  • Brings you down not up
  • Makes ridiculous rules
  • Pushes you to do things you are not comfortable doing
  • Makes you feel you are not acceptable unless it’s perfect

Let’s face it.  Your inner critic is not somebody you want to identify.  Stop this.  Allow yourself to identify with your true self instead.  You are a Spirit  that is so full of love and deserves to be loved in return.  End of story.  This story does not need a critic.

Self-sabotaging. Getting out of old self-defeating habits

Things seem to be going good in life, you feel good about yourself, people like you and there is a sense of abundance in your life.  Then… wham!  That other shoe drops and you knew it was too good to be true.  Something goes wrong.  Why?  Why does it always seem to happen to you?  Why can’t your life just go smoothly?

Let’s see how to take that saw out of your hand and just enjoy the view you worked so hard to get.

Why do we self sabotage anyways?  My thoughts are that it is based in fear that somebody will take it from you because they will figure out you don’t deserve to feel good.  You live in fear that somebody will ruin it so you ruin it before they do.  It’s your ego’s way of controlling the pain.  You are used to your old habits and ways fall off the branch.  You may have even prepared for this moment, knowing you would fall off the branch and put an air bag beneath before you tried to soften the fall.  You could develop skills like learning how to roll from the fall so it hurts but does not break something.  What this means is you prepared and planed to fail before you even started.  You are USED to failing so it feels comfortable.  You need to unconsciously be in control, even of your fear, your anger and your sadness.  When you self sabotage you are controlling these things you figure so you must be in control even if it is of something that is not healthy.

Another reason we do these things is that we have low self-esteem and do not feel we deserve this joy.  Somebody is going to figure out that you are a loser our ego tells us, so if you call yourself a loser first and act like a failure, then they can’t call you one before you can call yourself one.   Here is one that many of us have but do not like to admit.  The need for excitement.   Yep I said it.  We need variety or we get bored.  Even when things are going well for too long, we need variety so we make it.  Unfortunately we make it in a dramatic and unhealthy way.  We should have a better form of growth than drama in our lives.

Well great….now what?

Here are some simple tips to help you get out of this pattern.  First notice and observe the negative self-talk.  You should have a cheerleader in your head not a critic that tells you everything you did wrong.  Catch yourself being hard on yourself but then reverse it.    Say something nice about yourself instead.  Need to control something?  Control the negative self talk and turn your mind into your cheerleader.

Don’t be so black and white about things.  Throw some colour in there.  Do you only have black and white clothing?  No.  Because you like the colours and the ability to express yourself.  There is always a level of success to anything you try.  Even if you fell in love and had your heart broken.  You found out you could fall in love again, that is an amazing display of courage, strength, faith and joy.  Get out of the black and white and move into the grey.  Move from the grey to the green, to the red to the blue and so on.  You just need a path out of the black and white.

Do not throw everything out because ONE thing went wrong.  See what was good about the situation.  Concentrate on what this opportunity gave you, not what it took from you.

Finally, I invite you to ask a simple question before you take any action.  “Is this problem inside my head or outside my head”?   What this does is allows you to see that the suffering you are about to preempt by self-sabotaging, may not be real.  If the suffering is in your mind from insecurity and fear, you have to change your mind not get your saw out.  If you were afraid you would be hurt and you ask if it is inside your mind or outside your mind and the answer is “outside, there is a fire in the kitchen”, then yes take appropriate steps to save yourself.  If the answer is “nobody said or did anything”, then you may want to retreat to your inner child and ask them why they are afraid.  Let the big boy or girl answer them, do not let the inner child control your adult life.  Respond to them with compassion but strength.  You were not there when they got hurt before as a child, but you are now.  Let them know that.

There is a Buddhist quote that says “You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserves your love and affection”.  Be a better friend to yourself and know that most suffering is of the mind.   Take you out of the picture and ask yourself what you would tell a friend if they came to you with the same problem.  How would you advise somebody you loved?  Probably better than the way you were going to advise yourself.

Replace the saw with love and prepare to succeed instead of fail and watch your life grow in love.  It is the natural law of the Universe.

Why do bad things happen?

Bad things.  They happen.  But why?  If there is this cosmic energy of love and a God to speak of,  how could such horrors happen?   Two words.  FREE WILL.  It is a catch 22.  You have the freedom to love and create the most beautiful things, but you also have the freedom to destroy.  Here in Calgary with the loss of  five year old Nathan O’Brien and his grandparents, Kathryn and Alvin Liknes, horror was created.  Let us keep in mind that these people were not just “their” child or “their” parents, they are our family too.  June 29, 2014 our family went missing.   Kathryn and Alvin were not just Nathan’s grandparents, but also a father and a mother, a brother and a sister, friends, co-workers, neighbours and they lost each other.  Nathan was a son, brother, a friend, a school mate, and the boy next door.  The impact is great.  Did they deserve what happened to them?  Nobody deserves to be murdered.  Nobody deserves to lose a child or a family member.  Then why does this have to happen?  All I can share with you is what I have seen from spending thousands of hours in meditation, with clients talking to the other side, teaching and in prayer.  If it brings you comfort, I am glad.  If you disagree and it gets you angry, I am still glad because it got you thinking and talking about what you do believe.

First those that have lost a child are the strongest souls here.  They are not the weakest.  They choose to go through the worse emotional pain that good people would know.  The loss of a child.  This does not make them victims of the universe, but displays their bravery at walking this path.   The child and the parent are not child and parent while in Heaven.  They are evolving Spirits that are traveling together as a family to serve and grow in understanding love.  If we have mastered it, we would not be here.  Nobody is going to go on a perfect mission.  We do our best.  But imagine how brave these souls are to go through this.  Do not send them pity and sadness, send them joy and strength and admiration.  They are a team of Angels on Earth that have brought forth a message that not just our city is taking note of, but a whole country.  People are keeping their families closer, people are sending love and prayers, people were helping to look for them and we banded together because one family was brave enough to fall apart.  Do not waste this opportunity.

Super moon in Capricorn - July 12, 2014

“Buck Moon”/ “Thunder Moon”

It is not news that humans have a connection with the moon.  Our world is affected by it from the rise and fall of the tides to the amount of sleep we get.  On average, most people will get 50 minutes less sleep during a full moon.

This summer is special because we will have three Super moons.  The first one is July 12, then August 10, and then finally September 9 2014.   A moon is considered a “super moon” when it makes its closest approach to Earth during its orbit.  It is a time known as the moon’s perigee.  The super moon that will actually produce the closest to Earth will be in August with a distance of 356,896 kilometers or 221,765 miles, at 11:44 am MST.  The actual term “super moon” first appeared in a 1979 astrology publication and people have been using the term to describe the beauty of the moon in perigee ever since.

Super moon in Capricorn is a very strong time for us.  The Sun is in Cancer bringing us the energy of the archetype of the Mother, and the Moon in Capricorn with the energy of the archetype of the Father.  Ahhh balance.  Sometimes though in order to find balance you must take some things away and add other things.  Do not get attached to things you must let go of.  Have faith that when you let go of this, you can receive that, whatever the THAT is that you need right now to find balance.

The full moon illuminates not just the earth but also the soul to help you find this balance.  Mother and Father often represent the home and feeling safe.  What do you need to feel safe right now?  What makes you feel unsafe and have to guard yourself?  The Sun in Cancer allows you to honour your feelings.  Reflect on them and see if they are a manifestation of your fearful ego, or the reality of a situation.  Parents rule us as children, but it is time to let go of
their rule and appreciate your chance to control your own life and emotions.   If we do not take control, others will.

A BUCK Moon is called so because a buck deer begins to grow new antlers.   Is it time to develop and grow your own path in life and shed how you got here to truly be here?  The THUNDER Moon is named so because of the many thunderstorms that take place in July.  It is ok to make some noises to make these changes.  Embrace them.  Thunder is caused by moister, unstable air and lift.   We can equate this to your tears, your thoughts of change and the joy of the change.  Remember that thunderstorms never last long, but are needed to find balance again.

The atoms in our body are held together with light.  Light carries information.  The light from this Super moon will be shining this energy into your body and soul.  What you choose to do with this information is up to you as always.

Let the thunder role.

Namaste,

How can your belly button help not take criticism so personally?

Highly Sensitive People either shut down when they are criticized or they attack. There has got to be a happy medium. Here are some tips to...
